Low Melt Bag or Batch inclusion bags, also known as EVA Bags (ethylene vinyl acetate), are commonly used for packing materials in industrial use. Batch Inclusion Bag is used for conveying additives to mixers with low operating temperature. There is no need to unpack since such bags can be put directly into mixing equipment and mixed evenly with rubber without affecting the final product’s quality. Its low melt point and compatibility with Rubbers make the final compound homogeneous.
Whats is Low Melt Bag?
Batch inclusion bags are used to pack a range of flowable materials, including carbon black, curing agents, elastomers (rubber), and other chemicals. The Batch inclusion bag and the chemical(s) are put into the production batch, with the bag dissolving into the product being produced. The bag is designed to melt and disperse its contents uniformly into a heated mixture. The bag itself will completely dissolve into the mixture. It is essential that the melting temperature of the batch inclusion bag be lower than the operating temperature of the mixer. Low melt bags with melting temperature less than 80°C is used for cold mixers and in the presence of curing agents.
